Minecraft Camps Information

Join us for a holiday camp of exploring, trading, building, and creativity in Minecraft! We will first explore Viking World where campers will interact and trade with Custom NPC’s to complete quests that will unlock tools, supplies, weapons and armor for the players. They will ultimately cross the sea to locate the NPC Viking Outpost and build a Viking outpost of their own. Then campers will work to turn the Group Building World into a Minecraft theme park. What will we include in our theme park…roller coasters, water slides, Parkour, labyrinths? It will be a day full of Minecraft fun!

June 26-30
July 17-21

Grades: Rising 2nd – 6th grade, Boys and girls
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Fee: $350 per session

Join us for this exciting camp that combines writing software for computers AND exploration and challenges in different Minecraft worlds.

First, campers will have the opportunity to explore the world of BBC Micro Bits! The Micro Bit is a 4cm x 5 cm computer developed by the BBC and Microsoft to encourage students in the UK to get actively involved in writing software for computers and building new things, rather than being consumers of media. Now this opportunity is available to your child through COMPUTER EXPLORERS!

Next join us for some Minecraft fun where we will use our skills in exploration, survival, building creativity, and search and trade. We will show off our skills in multiple worlds like Castleland, Volcano World, and Skywars!

Technology II: Minecraft Coding & 3D Video Worlds

June 19-23
July 10-14
Grades: Rising 4th – 9th grade, Boys and girls
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Fee: $350 per session

Join us for this innovative camp that has campers programming in Minecraft and creating 3D video game worlds!

First, using the Custom NPCs and ComputerCraft mods in Minecraft, campers will learn and build on coding skills. They will go on an adventure of exploration in Turtle Canyon, be challenged in the Hour of Code World, and go on a resource race using only their ‘turtles’.

Then, campers will learn the fundamentals involved in creating their own 3D video game world! With a simple click and roll of a mouse modify your world. Develop and storyboard your design, and place animals, trees, characters, and other items in your own virtual world! If you like 2-D, you will love 3-D!!

Please let us know if your plans change and your child will not be attending camp so we can give the spot to another child.

Please pay by credit card or check before camp begins. A non-refundable $25 registration fee is included in the deposit. (This registration fee applies to the camp fee.) The remaining balance is due and will be charged to your method of payment 10 days before the session begins.
