Due to Dorm renovations there will not be a 2019 Lacrosse boarding camp, we hope to see you in 2020!

McCallie Lacrosse camps cover all aspects of team play, with emphasis on fundamental development and the mechanics of individual offense and defense.
  • The camp offers individual skill sessions, a team skill session, and a team game each day. The 7-to-1 camper/staff ratio allows for personalized attention to each camper.
  • Camps are designed for beginning and experienced lacrosse players. The experience level of each player is most useful in determining the appropriate week of camp.
  • All participants will receive a reversible tank top, a lacrosse ball, and secondary insurance coverage at no extra cost.
  • Boarders must have all equipment.

Director Troy Kemp:
The McCallie lacrosse program began in the fall of 1989 with approximately two dozen players and two coaches. Since that date, the program has grown into one of the top programs in the Southeast.

The overall school program consists of more than 120 players on the Middle School A and B, JV and Varsity teams. McCallie welcomes players with various levels of experience.

The varsity program is led by a three-time State Coach of the Year Troy Kemp. Coach Kemp has accumulated a 288-108 coaching record heading into the coming season. McCallie has won eight state championships (1996, 1997, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2015) in Kemp’s 24 years as McCallie’s lacrosse leader.

Under Coach Kemp’s leadership, McCallie lacrosse has produced over 70 Division I, II, and III collegiate athletes, 17 High School All-Americans, and a national champion.
